Many have written to let us know how their churches celebrated Marriage Recognition Sunday 2013. Here are a few testimonials. We hope you will enjoy reading how much they all enjoyed the day!

My name is Cheryl Marsh and I’m the church clerk for Thankful Baptist Church. We wanted to let you know we participated in Marriage Recognition Sunday by recognizing all married couples and mentioning this special day in our 2-10-13 Bulletin.

Thanks for ALL you and the Covenant Keypers’ ministry does!

Yours in Christ

We really enjoy Sunday morning service as we join in with all married couples, to lift up the name of Jesus and thank Him for the spouse’s that he has placed in our lives. We had one of couple’s to come up and ask all the couples to stand and the ushers passed out bookmarkers. One of our Minister’s talked on in time’s of trouble that we should go to the Lord in prayer, after that we had a love song sung to all the couples. Thank you so much for getting back to us this has really been great. I have attach the bookmarker for you to see. Have a blessed day and may God richly bless you.

On Marriage Recognition Sunday, we at The Church of the Firstborn asked all married couples present to stand and be recognized.

1). 460 was the combined total # of years couples at Firstborn had been married (this total was for present and absent members).
2). We recognized the month for the(2) couples combined who had the greatest # of years (that was April with a total of 63 years),31.5 yrs average.
3). recognized the month for(1) couple who had the least # off years of marriage (that was July 7 yrs).
4). The couple married the longest was visiting and they were married for 44 years. If they qualify, I can send you their information. The couple married the shortest time was seven months.
5). We recognized two engaged couples.

Marriage is very important to our church and society, and everyone agreed that marriage is important. We are very happy to say that Firstborn and visitors on Marriage Recognition Sunday had a total of 539 years of marriage combined. If you have any questions email churchfirstborn11@yahoo.com or call me @423-756-0704 (church) or my cell 423-718-3013.

We really enjoyed the meeting on Saturday. Here is our Marriage Recognition Sunday info.  Pastor Jordan had all married couples to come to the front with their spouses and also those whose spouses may not have been there. He also had all single men and boys from the age of 14 and up to come down and stand behind us. He wanted them to see what married couples looked like and to set an example for them when they got married.

Good Afternoon Sister Rosalyn, I pray that all is well with you and Brother Gary today. I am giving you a report on the marriage recognition Sunday at St. Elmo. The Lord blessed us to have a wonderful, spirit-filled service with a special message entitled, ” The Beauty and Joys of Marital Love”, taken from Proverbs 5:15-19; and Selected passages from the Songs of Solomon. We did something a little different this year in celebrating our married couples.
Instead of having a gift for the oldest and newest married couples, we recognized each of them individually, gave each a gift, and then had drawings to give out about seven gift baskets; we also recognized widows and widowers. Thanks again for your continued faithfulness in helping to build and protect the “Biblical Traditional Marriage”. May the Lord forever bless you! Please continue to pray for us!!!

In His Love, Pastor & Sister Church

We, New Sholar Ave. Baptist Church, celebrated MRS giving gift cards and candy to each married couple in honor of their commitment. Thanks for your vision and dedication to local churches and marriages.
