MY VOW TO GOD FOR PURITY
As one who has been saved by the precious blood of the Lamb of God, I now make myself accountable to Godly Titus women and submit to the teachings of your Holy Word, the Bible, my vow to commit my body a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God which is my reasonable service! (Ti 2:3-5, Rom 12:1)
I Therefore, Vow and Affirm:
…that my salvation was the beginning of an eternal walk with YOU, my Master teacher, Jesus Christ (Rom 10:9, 10) and because I am made in Your image and in Your likeness, I will not be conformed to this world, but will be transformed by the renewing of my mind that I may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Rom 12:2; Gen 1:26 & 27; II Cor 3:18, Col 3:10),
…that I have a high and holy calling from you to live out my God-created identity to your glory (Phil 3:14) and that I was intentionally and purposefully created Female which speaks to my complimentary differences to the male (Gen 1:27), Woman which speaks to my relationship to the man (Gen 2:22), Wife which speaks to my role to my husband (Gen 2:24; 3:17) and Mother which speaks to my joint parental responsibilities to my children (Eph 6:1; Col 3:20),
…that my created body does not belong to me but has been bought with a precious price of your innocent blood (I Cor 6:19, 20); Therefore, I will demonstrate and model modesty in my decision-making of hair styles, clothing and jewelry choices, fads such as piercings and tattoos, and any other personal body behaviors (I Ptr 3:3; I Cor 6:19, 20; I Tim 2:9, 10; I Jn 2:15),
…that I will abstain from all worldly, lustful and evil cravings (I Ptr 2:11) and will preserve my body and its sexual desires, drives, and passions for marriage (Heb 13:4; I Cor 7:2,3). I will not allow my mind or my body to be influenced and/or defiled with the sensual wisdom of worldly personalities, musical artists, ungodly customs, traditional standards, or political authorities (Jn 17:14, 16: Jam 4:4; II Cor 6:17; I Cor 1:20; I Jn 2:15, 16),
…that I will refuse, repent of, and diligently seek to reverse, anything that portrays or represents worldly, socially accepted, politically correct but anti-biblical behaviors such as; mind altering drugs, inappropriate language, body marks, excessive and extreme piercings, immodest and impure magazine subscriptions (Jn 4:4; I Th 5:22),
…that I will abstain from all kinds of ungodly practices offered to me by means of career choices, social clubs, memberships or associations, media, “cyberspace”, modern technology, fashions, sexual parties, or significant relationships but will do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for His honor and glory (II Cor 6:14-16; Col 3:17; Col 3:23, I Th 5:22; Lev 20:26); Titus 2:12),
…that I will abandon any and all ungodly sexual practices such as outside marital affairs; pre-marital sex, sex toys, same sex relationships, orgies, pornography, or any other unnatural sexual practices not ordained or intended by God the Creator. But I will keep under my body, and bring [it] into subjection (Rom 1:24-27; I Cor 4:8, 11; I Cor 6:18, 19; Lev 20:10, 13, 15, 16; Phil 1:20),
…that I will embrace and model from the inside out a God-centered life style that is wrapped in a beautiful package called PURITY! (Titus 1:15, 16) and as You lead, will make known the glorious benefits of living a pure and holy life in a culture that is void of, and too often resistant to, biblical teachings about Purity and Modesty! (I Ptr 1:15 & 16),
As for me, this one thing I will do: I will forget those things which are behind me and I will reach forth to those things which are before me, and I will press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus! For I am persuaded that you, my Lord are able to keep me from falling and will present me faultless before the throne of God in that day! Amen. (Phil 3:13-14)
